This role comes with a $5,000 sign-on bonus ($2,500 at 90 days, $2,500 at 6 months) and real ownership of quality outcomes, not just running a program and accepting the results. What you'll be doing Develop and optimize high-quality CMM programs using ZEISS Calypso software (for a ZEISS Contura CMM 10/12/6 RDS with Vast XXT and a ZEISS Contura CMM 7/10/6 with Vast XT Gold) Proof CMM programs and make necessary adjustments Plan inspections, including ballooning drawings Interpret and analyze CMM reports, measurement results, and part specifications Support troubleshooting and validation activities to reach first-article qualification quickly and efficiently Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to make and measure parts correctly the first time Provide insights and recommendations to improve accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency What we're looking for Required 3+ years of hands-on Calypso programming experience Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Thorough understanding of dimensional metrology principles and applications Competitive programming times Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Preferred CMM inspection experience with curve forms, maximum material condition, and advanced GD&T Familiarity with machining, especially 4- and 5-axis milling Pay, benefits and schedule Up to $90,000/year, depending on experience $5,000 sign-on bonus: $2,500 at 90 days, $2,500 at 6 months 401(k) with a 100% employer match up to $5,200 per year 80 hours of PTO in your first year, increasing annually up to 200 hours 6 paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, life, accident, and disability insurance Bonus opportunities Advance CNC Machining is an AS9100-certified, ITAR-registered precision machining company serving aerospace, defense, and equipment-manufacturing customers, along with customers in the food and drug industries, from its Grove City, Ohio headquarters.
