Responsibilities Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. provides mental health evaluations to children, adolescents, adults and older adults in crisis with 24/7 response. The service model focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of mental health patients. Based on assessment results, the appropriate level of care is determined and treatment facilities are recommended. Tele-psychiatric assessment and consultation services connect patients with the care providers best equipped to address their mental health issues. Rapid response aims to connect patients to the most appropriate level of care quickly. Clinical Lead Therapist – Tempe, AZ The Clinical Lead provides assistance to the Clinical Director, leads and supports a team of mobile assessors, and oversees call center workflows to ensure timely and effective service delivery. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. Job Duties/Responsibilities Review clinical assessment/referral documentation; file involuntary commitment paperwork where applicable. Maintain daily communication with referral sources regarding patient case status. Assist with interviews, new hire orientation, and training of Clinical Assessment Team Evaluators in workflow processes and procedures. Help with team scheduling, payroll, and daily reports. Maintain excellent clinical and organizational skills. Licensure/Certification Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Registered Nurse (RN). Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. ("Customer hospital" means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.) Must have a valid driver’s license. Experience Required 3–5 years of similar experience / Leadership experience. Preferred 5–8 years of similar experience.
