License: Active license required

Certifications: RDCS and BCLS required, certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Credentialing International required

Must-Have: Skills checklist specific to the discipline of Cardiovascular Vascular Sonographer required, professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation within the last 24 months preferred, driver's license required

Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across various locations. The candidate will be required to perform a minimum of 7-8 scans per day. A solid Echo technician is needed, although a full cardiovascular skill set is not necessary. Epic experience is required. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer and Registered Vascular Technologist certifications are required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is also required. Depending on staffing, there may be 1-2 nights of call per week and 1-2 weekends of call per month.
