Cook Position

Northwood Children's Services is looking to fill the position of Cook. This position is full time.

The Cook position plays a vital role in supporting and efficiently managing the kitchen and food program at Northwood. Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals, and fostering an atmosphere of professionalism and warmth for the children we serve. This role offers an opportunity for culinary creativity, with a preference for candidates skilled in scratch cooking from start to finish. It's an ideal position for someone looking to transition from the fast-paced restaurant industry to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, or for those seeking a supportive team environment in which to grow and thrive.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of cooking experience required, with a background in restaurant or institutional cooking.
