Responsibilities: Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable by explaining procedures and treatment plans.Prepare treatment rooms by setting up sterilized instruments, equipment, materials, and supplies.Review and update medical histories, record vital information, and take digital dental X-rays.Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures by providing chairside support, passing instruments, and maintaining a clean, efficient work area.Apply topical anesthetic and perform expanded duties as permitted by your license and state regulations.Provide patients with post-treatment instructions, answer questions about oral health and home care, and schedule follow-up appointments.Follow infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and the dental team. Qualifications: • Experience with dental software, updating patient histories, and computer skills are needed • Need state licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) • An Associate’s Degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required • Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired • Current BLS/CPR certification is required • Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant Compensation: $24+ hourly DOE
