- # PhlebotomistApplylocations: Attleboro, MAtime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R9007Scheduled Weekly Hours: 16-Under the direction of the Laboratory Coordinator, Practice Manager and/or site Medical Director collects blood specimens using venipuncture or capillary puncture techniques; instructs patients in the collection of urine and other body fluids/specimens. Processes specimens correctly and tracks receipt of results. Under the direction of a qualified instructor, performs lab testing after documented training is established.**Required** **Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:*** Ability to perform venipuncture and capillary collection techniques proficiently and safely* Attention to detail and effective organizational skills* Ability to communicate effectively* Knowledge of and adherence to universal precaution techniques and requirements* Completion of a 12 week orientation period* Command of verbal and written English* Positive interpersonal communication skills* Good organizational skills**Preferred** **Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:****Educational Requirements:*** Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training course required**License/Certification:*** Phlebotomy certificate**Age Specific Criteria:** Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.**Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations:** Must have the ability to perform essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
