Join the UF Health Gainesville pharmacy team as a Clinical Pharmacist supporting Heart, Vascular & Neuromedicine, where you'll play an integral role in providing safe, high-quality medication therapy for patients with complex cardiovascular and neurological conditions.

In this part-time evening role, you'll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to optimize medication therapy and support positive patient outcomes. This position is a 0.75 FTE clinical staff pharmacist's position, staffing primarily evening shifts within all the adult pharmacy satellites.

Evening shift hours typically are 12:30-21:00, 13:00-21:30, 14:00-22:00, or 14:30-23:00.

This position requires participation in weekend and holiday rotation schedules and inclusion in night shift coverage as needed. The role also involves on-call responsibilities, disaster team assignments, and holiday block scheduling.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
• PharmD or equivalent education and hospital training / experience required.
• PGY1 residency preferred. PGY2 residency highly preferred.
• Two years pharmacy experience in an organized health care setting preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with supervisors, peers, support personnel and students.
• Demonstrated understanding of general hospital and ambulatory operations.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate clinical services, education and research activities.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered pharmacist in Florida or eligible for same
