Attorney - Insurance Defense | Up to $225K Base + Bonus | New York City | Remote
\n \nComplex New York litigation, meaningful case ownership and direct exposure to clients, depositions and courtroom strategy.
\nJoin a growing New York defense practice handling sophisticated civil litigation for insurers, corporations and self-insured businesses across high-exposure matters throughout the state.
\n \nPlatform
\nBroad Defense Practice: Work across general liability, premises liability, Labor Law, construction-related claims, automobile/trucking and catastrophic injury matters.
\nSubstantive Case Ownership: Manage matters through pleadings, discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, mediations, hearings and trial preparation.
\nStrong Client Exposure: Work directly with insurance carriers, corporate clients, property owners and institutional businesses on strategically important disputes.
\nHands-On Litigation Experience: Gain meaningful responsibility across depositions, court appearances, motion practice, settlement strategy and trial work.
\n \nResponsibilities

- Manage insurance defense matters from inception through resolution \n
- Take and defend fact, party and expert depositions \n
- Develop litigation strategy and provide direct client reporting \n
- Support and participate in trial preparation and trial \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- 3+ years of insurance defense / civil litigation experience \n
- Experience in general liability, premises liability, Labor Law, construction, auto/trucking or casualty defense \n
- New York Bar admission required \n
- New Jersey admission is a plus \n
