About the team and position We’re looking for a high-energy Accounts Payable Specialist to join our AP Team, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Lead. The AP Specialist is responsible for entering a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency daily. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. Most importantly, you will see your insights have an immediate, tangible impact every day in a well-funded and rapidly growing company. What you’ll be doing High Volume Invoice processing with strict deadlines. Working with internal customers to ensure timely processing of Check Requests. Researching a high volume of inquiries regarding the status and other payment information. Reconcile Vendor Statements to confirm all outstanding invoices have been received and entered. Completing month-end duties on time. Working closely with GL Team regarding coding and invoice entries. Extend excellent customer service for both internal and external customers. Additional duties as assigned. What you should know/have: HS Diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years of Accounts Payable or Accounting experience. An ability to work and meet deadlines. Type 80+ words a minute with minimal errors. Solid attention to detail. Problem-Solving skills. Flexibility with daily tasks. Organizational Skills. Advanced Excel and Oracle skills. A sense of urgency and professionalism, with impeccable communication skills. We’d love it if you also have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
