Travel RN - Med/Surg - Night Shift

Location: Englewood, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg unit. The RN will provide care to patients in a fast-paced environment, focusing on post-operative burn and flap patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, be a team player, and have experience in patient care with an emphasis on wound and dressing care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg setting.
• Perform wound and dressing care for post-operative patients.
• Administer medications and manage care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using EMR - Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1-year acute care hospital Med/Surg experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• Burn Care and Wound Care experience preferred.
• ACLS certification is a plus.
