Mechanical AssemblerWe are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to assemble metal components, subassemblies, and finished products in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints, follow work instructions, and use hand and power tools to build high-quality assemblies that meet production standards.Responsibilities:Review work orders, blueprints, drawings, and sample assemblies to determine assembly requirementsGather required parts, tools, and materials for each jobAssemble fabricated parts into subassemblies and complete unitsUse hand tools, power tools, and equipment to bolt, press, drill, weld, and fasten componentsPerform in-process and final inspections using measuring tools and test equipmentEnsure assemblies meet required specifications and quality standardsTest and calibrate parts and mechanisms as neededFollow production schedules and meet daily output requirementsMaintain a clean and organized work areaPerform additional duties as assigned by supervisorQualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years of mechanical or assembly experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsBasic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power toolsStrong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals)Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructionsMust be fluent in EnglishPreferred Competencies:Strong attention to detail and quality focusGood problem-solving and reasoning abilityAbility to work independently and in a team environmentDependability and strong work ethicAbility to learn and apply new processes quicklyPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the shiftFrequent use of hands for gripping, handling, and tool operationAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally more with assistanceExposure to industrial manufacturing environment including noise, machinery, and physical laborMust be able to use close, distance, color, and peripheral vision for inspection workAbility to wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe bootsSchedule:Monday – Friday 6am-2:30pmPay: $18–$20 per hour
