Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Point Of Care Lab Technician

Schedule: Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 143 weeks

Requirements: Valid driver's license with a good driving record, High school diploma or equivalent, Minimum qualifications as a licensed medical laboratory technician or licensed vocational nurse for waived testing in the state

Roles & Responsibilities: Perform waived laboratory tests in a remote or mobile setting under supervision. Monitor quality of reagents and working conditions of instruments. Receive specimens and perform lab testing in areas including Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis. Enter patient demographics and test orders into the lab information system. Process specimens and maintain quality control records. Ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times.

Compliance / Notes: Vaccination against COVID-19 is required. Same-day advances available, discussed at interview.
