Senior Business Data Steward

Responsibilities Identifies business unit data critical business processes and critical data elements Ensures data controls are implemented and maintained Participates in domain working groups and best practices forums Collaborates with Data Domain Working Group for approving new CDEs Defines Data Quality rules and standards Monitors Data Quality activities Reviews and updates central metadata repository with business metadata content Defines Data Privacy rules in collaboration with the Chief Privacy Officer Mentors less experienced teammates Requirements Bachelor’s degree and eight years of related experience or equivalent education and related training or experience Deep specialized and/or broad knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with data stewardship/management. Previous experience in leading IT projects of significant complexity and risk exposure. Master’s degree or MBA and ten years of related experience or equivalent education and related training or experience (Preferred). Banking or financial services experience (Preferred). Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Data Stewardship and Management, with a focus on Data Quality and Data Privacy standards. Proven ability to lead complex IT projects and mentor team members in a collaborative environment.
