Client Relationship Manager

Relate Search has partnered with an established industrial fabrication company in their search for a Business Development Manager / Customer Success Manager in the Freeport area. This is an opportunity for a proven hunter who can open doors across the petrochemical, oil and gas, refining, and heavy industrial markets while building lasting customer relationships. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and internal teams to win new business, grow accounts, and support a strong customer experience from the initial conversation through project delivery. Responsibilities Drive new business by prospecting independently, leveraging existing relationships, and identifying opportunities with industrial facilities and related contractors. Build and grow customer relationships, understand upcoming project needs, and identify opportunities to expand business within the accounts you develop. Partner with estimating, operations, and leadership to coordinate quotes, communicate customer requirements, and support successful project execution. Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline, track opportunities in the CRM, and establish a consistent approach to prospecting and follow-up. Represent the company through customer meetings, facility visits, and local industry networking. Qualifications Proven success in business development, outside sales, or account management serving petrochemical, oil and gas, refining, or heavy industrial customers. Demonstrated ability to generate new business, build relationships with decision-makers, and convert opportunities into lasting customer partnerships. Experience selling industrial fabrication, equipment, materials, or related services. Experience selling to the same customer base is valuable, even if the products or services differ. Strong communication, organization, and follow-through, with the ability to coordinate across customers and internal teams. Entrepreneurial, collaborative mindset with a willingness to prospect actively and take ownership of customer relationships. Earning Potential: Base salary plus uncapped commission tied to collected revenue. Local Market Focus: Build relationships close to home, with local customer travel. Onsite Environment: Five days onsite, split between the Freeport-area office and customer visits.
