Senior Customer Service Representative

Job Title
Pay Rate: $20 per hour Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Bloomfield, CT
Summary
Handle, review, and administer Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and/or Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) claims. Adhere to federal and state regulatory and/or company plan requirements. Establish FMLA/ADA workflow procedures and evaluate against appropriate leave plans to make initial claim decisions.
Responsibilities
Complete eligibility decisions during intake calls and gather pertinent data from employees or other supporting systems. Perform leave-ups as required, including recertification of health condition, intermittent claim tracking, and return-to-work confirmation. Update systems to accurately reflect leave status and ensure appropriate diary documentation exists.
Requirements
High school diploma. Minimum one year of experience in Absence Management Claims. Experience and strong customer satisfaction focus and attention to detail. Strong understanding of the ADA/AMS process and background. Strong customer service skills are a must.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor's degree. Minimum three years of FMLA/ADA claims knowledge of process and procedures.
