Position Overview
We are seeking a Carpenter Apprentice to join a growing construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the skilled trades while gaining hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial construction projects.
The Carpenter Apprentice will work alongside experienced carpenters assisting with construction, installation, repairs, and general job site activities. Candidates should be dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities- Assist carpenters with construction, remodeling, and installation projects
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installation
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
- Perform basic framing, trim, drywall, flooring, and finishing tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow company safety procedures and project specifications
- Support project completion while learning carpentry techniques and best practices
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous construction, carpentry, landscaping, or labor experience is a plus
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a skilled trade
