Mold Shield LLC A Same Day Mold Service Company is seeking an IICRC Mitigation Technician to support professional mold remediation services to our customers.

Position Summary

The IICRC Mitigation Technician is responsible for performing mold mitigation work safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer care. This role supports project teams from setup through completion, ensuring affected areas are properly treated and controlled.

In this position, you will follow industry best practices and job site procedures to protect occupants, property, and team members, while documenting work performed according to established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mold mitigation tasks in accordance with IICRC standards and project requirements.

• Set up and maintain containment, equipment, and work areas to support safe remediation.

• Operate and maintain mitigation equipment and ensure correct use on each job site.

• Follow safety procedures, including proper use of protective equipment and hazard controls.

• Complete job documentation, including basic reporting of work performed and job progress.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely, quality-focused job completion.

Required Qualifications

• Active IICRC certification.

• Ability to work onsite and perform hands-on field duties.

• Strong commitment to safety, including following job site procedures and protective protocols.

• Ability to lift, move, and handle job materials and equipment as needed.

• Reliable attendance and a professional, customer-focused approach while working on-site.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mold remediation, water damage mitigation, construction, or a related field.

• Familiarity with IICRC concepts or prior work on remediation projects.

• Experience working in occupied or sensitive environments while maintaining cleanliness and containment.

• Basic understanding of documentation practices for job logs and work summaries.

• Demonstrated teamwork and willingness to support varying tasks as projects evolve.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $21 - $25
