Global Media Relations Director

Seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Media Relations Director, the full-time position will support and execute a global media strategy to enhance the company's narrative and reputation through proactive engagement with diverse media outlets. Key responsibilities Execute a global media strategy to advance the company narrative and enhance reputation across various media platforms Monitor external media trends to inform and adapt media strategy development effectively Build and maintain relationships with a diverse media landscape, managing media requests and executing outreach with strong judgment Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related field; advanced degree preferred Minimum of seven years of media relations experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry Strong writing and storytelling capabilities, with the ability to simplify complex issues into clear messaging Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into media narratives Experience in issues management and effective counseling of senior leaders
