2nd Shift Machine Operator I - Device

Position Overview Machine Operator – Hunts Huntley, IL. 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Rate: $24.16/hour plus $0.50 shift differential. This role is performed under general supervision and requires setting up the proper tooling for thermoforming machines and operating the equipment per job specifications. Responsibilities Set up thermoforming machines for operation according to job specifications. Mount dies and molds and load rolls of raw materials. Engage machines to produce thermo‑formed parts and maintain continuous operation. Perform troubleshooting and quality control checks. Perform routine maintenance on thermoforming machines. Complete required job tickets. Work with Packers/Inspectors to resolve quality issues. Direct Packers/Inspectors to other areas when machines are down for troubleshooting or set‑up. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of machine operator experience. 1-year previous production line experience preferred. Basic math, reading, writing, and English skills to complete paperwork. Knowledge of manufacturing and quality control processes. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to continuously lift, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day. Good written and verbal communication skills. Manual dexterity and agility. Leadership skills. Self‑starting, willing to learn, and can perform other tasks as required. Physical & Environmental Demands Exposure to heat, toxic fumes, greases, and lubricants. Standing, walking, bending, reaching, reading, writing, and talking. Lift up to 50 pounds.
