Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a full-time Special Education Teacher in an onsite, contract position beginning August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027. Multiple openings are available at both the middle and high school levels near Chester, PA. This is an opportunity to join a committed educational community requiring strong instructional and classroom management skills. Positions include one middle school role and three high school roles, each focusing on one subject area: Science, Math, or Social Studies.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification/licensure required for caseload
• Bachelor’s degree required to qualify for an emergency teaching permit
• Prior school-based experience essential
• Demonstrated experience and comfort working in an urban school setting
• Mastery of subject matter aligned with either Science, Math, or Social Studies (for high school candidates)
• Strong classroom and behavioral management abilities
• Reliable transportation is a must
• Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances before start
• Must be comfortable with the district’s culture and specific location
• No schedule accommodations; must commit to designated hours
• Available for a virtual interview via Zoom

• Differentiate instruction and utilize formative assessments for all learners
• Maintain instructional excellence and resource management for your course(s)
• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom culture

Position Details:

• Contract term: August 24, 2026 – June 10, 2027
• Full-time, onsite, 35 hours/week
• Middle School: 8:30AM–4PM or 8AM–3:15PM (to be determined)
• High School: 7:15AM–2:45PM
