Responsibilities include:

• Scrubbing and circulating for a variety of surgical cases, ensuring each procedure runs smoothly and efficiently
• Monitoring patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively, assessing changes in condition, and responding rapidly to evolving situations
• Maintaining strict adherence to all infection control and safety protocols within the operating suite
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to deliver exemplary care
• Documenting intraoperative nursing interventions and patient outcomes accurately
• Preparing and managing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Providing support and reassurance to patients and their families, helping to alleviate anxiety before surgery

Ideal candidates bring:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of Operating Room nursing experience (circulator and/or scrub nurse)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
• Strong knowledge of surgical aseptic techniques and best practices
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfort working in dynamic settings and adapting to rapidly changing priorities
• Solid teamwork abilities and reliability under pressure
