As a Security Officer Medical Response Patrol in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to site needs, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Guided by our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first and act with integrity every day.

- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, maintenance issues, or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and assist with directing foot traffic and/or vehicle traffic in high-activity healthcare areas.
- Support healthcare location operations by communicating with staff regarding security-related concerns, following post orders, and assisting with incident response, de-escalation, and/or other assigned duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an EMT certification.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Possess a CPR certification preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
