Are you passionate about cooking the perfect steak? Do you have the skill and precision to work with high-quality ingredients in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Hondos Steakhouse, known for our premium steaks and exceptional dining experience, is looking for a talented Broiler Cook to join our culinary team!

Location: Glen Allen, VA

Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook steaks, chops, and other grilled items to perfection using our broiler.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized broiler station at all times.
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen while meeting customer preferences for doneness and presentation.
  • Assist with daily prep and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during busy shifts.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Broiler Cook or in a similar role in an upscale or high-volume restaurant.
  • Mastery of cooking techniques for steaks and other proteins, including knowledge of temperature control and proper doneness.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Flexibility to work evenings & weekends.
