Overview

Seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine or MedPed Physician or an Advanced Practice Provider to join a rural health clinic in a coastal Oregon town an hour west of Salem. The clinic has been serving the community for almost 50 years.

Details

• One other MD on staff.
• Outpatient only; the town has a small hospital with an ER, surgeon, radiology, etc., to which patients are referred.
• Patient mix: primarily adult and geriatric patients, with additional children and women’s health cases.
• Current volume: 8‑15 patients per day, approximately 100 patients per week, with opportunity for higher volume.
• High demand for geriatric care; no nursing home in town.
• Dermatology and Hematology/Oncology providers use space 1–2 times per month.
• Clinic partners with mental health providers; a social worker and therapist are on site a few days a week.
• Large Spanish‑speaking population; providers who speak Spanish may see more patients.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay‑for‑service model; income based on patients seen.
• Clinic receives Rural Health Clinic (RHC) Medicare rates, certified PCPCH, and accepts major medical insurance.
• High number of certified practitioner opportunities that may increase income.

Coastal Oregon town an hour west of Salem. The area offers scenic hiking, water sports, schools, and proximity to Salem and Portland.
