Precision Oncology Clinical Trial Coordinator Sponsor-side clinical operations Full-time Hybrid, 2-3 days/week in office Plano, TX Dallas / Plano metro required The role Lantern Pharma is an AI-driven precision oncology company developing targeted therapies with our RADR® platform. We run lean: the person who owns day-to-day trial operations is the connective tissue between sites, vendors, monitors, and clinical leadership — not a back-office processor. You will help execute biomarker-driven oncology studies in indications such as triple-negative breast cancer, recurrent GBM / CNS tumors, and other DNA-damage-repair-selected solid tumors. In a small public biotech, your work shows up in enrollment, clean data, regulatory compliance, and how fast we can amend a protocol and keep sites moving. What you will do Sites and vendors. Primary operational contact for investigators, coordinators, nurses, clinical monitors and vendors. Build relationships that improve screening, enrollment, and compliance. Track recruitment and outcomes in real time and flag bottlenecks early. Partner with relevant patient advocacy groups on recruitment strategy. Execution and quality. Support start-up and close-out with monitors; keep SOPs and the study project plan current. First-line review of monitoring reports; drive CAPAs at sites and vendors to closure; log and trend study deviations; lead study-specific deviation meetings. Join data reviews (coding, deviations, safety) so queries do not stall trial procedures. Documents, systems, supplies. File final study documents promptly in QDMS and keep the forward regulatory documents for filing in the eTMF. Help review and edit IRB / ethics submissions and amendments. Track IP, lab kits, and supplies. Compile clinical inquiries into FAQs and help the Medical Monitor get clear guidance to sites in urgent situations. Contractor coordination. Day-to-day coordination of contracted monitors and similar study-support roles; elevate risk early. Success in the first 90 days You know every active site, the coordinator, and where each site sits on screening and enrollment. QDMS / eTMF filing is current. Monitoring-report actions have an owner, a due date, and a close-out habit. You can brief leadership on accrual risk, supply risk, and deviation trends. What you bring Required Bachelor’s in life sciences, nursing, public health, or a related field. 3-5+ years in clinical research operations at a sponsor, CRO, or high-volume oncology site. We care more about ownership of studies than a perfect title match. Working knowledge of FDA regulations and ICH-GCP, including familiarity with E6(R3) risk-based / quality-by-design direction. Hands-on eDC and eTMF experience; comfort with trackers, query reports, and version-controlled files. Calm, precise work with investigators and site staff; strong written communication and an audit trail others can follow. Able to work independently in a small team and move between start-up, enrollment, and close-out in the same week. Live in the Dallas / Plano area and be in the Plano office 2-3 days per week. Preferred — none of these are blockers RN, BSN, MPH, or similar credential; ACRP / SOCRA (CCRC or CCRP) or willingness to obtain. Oncology or biomarker-selected protocol experience; multi-country or academic-center sites. Vendor invoice / site-payment tracking; first-line monitoring-report review or ownership of a deviation / CAPA log. You want to be close to the science and the sites. You would rather prevent a missed kit or a stale CAPA than write a perfect status email after the fact. You like a small public-company environment — high visibility, broad scope, cross functional training and less bureaucracy — and you can hold the line on quality without making sites feel policed.
