TRANSPLANT HEPATOLOGY and GASTROENTEROLOGY The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Hepatologist to join its academic faculty team. The successful candidate will provide transplant care to patients with end‑stage liver disease and manage a busy Advanced Liver Disease practice. Responsibilities Provide pre‑ and post‑transplant care for patients with end‑stage liver disease. Manage a busy Advanced Liver Disease practice. Participate in the transplant selection committee. Engage in quality assurance initiatives. Educate and mentor internal medicine, GI residents, fellows, and medical students. Present at departmental and divisional meetings. Engage in clinical research and present findings at national meetings. Essential Functions Upper endoscopy procedure. Colonoscopy. Liver biopsies. Qualifications Arizona medical license (or eligible to obtain). Board‑certified in Hepatology (BC/BE). Training in GI and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship required.
