Registered Nurse Emergency Department Location: Utica, New York
Pay Rate: $ 1,900 To $2,124 Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Utica, New York. This role supports a high-acuity 64-bed Emergency Department caring for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate must have strong ED experience, pediatric experience, prior travel experience, EPIC documentation skills, and the ability to float as needed.
Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Manage high-acuity cases including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately using EPIC
• Float as needed and collaborate with the interdisciplinary emergency care team
Requirements
• Active New York RN License Required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• AHA BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, And TNCC Certifications Required
• Must provide skills checklist, driver's license, NURSYS verification, and RTO at submission
