BLS for Healthcare Provider

Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide psychiatric care across child and adolescent populations.

Assess and manage suicide risk in patients.

Administer and monitor medications, including blood glucose checks.

Implement seclusion and physical hold protocols, ensuring trauma-informed care.

Deliver psychoeducation to patients and families.

Compliance / Notes:

Orientation: 16 hours

Required to work 3 of these 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

Return-to-work policy: 3 months between permanent employment and travel assignment

Must have a reliable vehicle for assignment
