Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:00–06:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular OR cases including open heart surgery, CABG, and valve procedures (aortic, mitral, and pulmonic)
• Perform scrub duties for open CVOR cases and TAVR procedures
• Operate and assist with advanced cardiac devices including Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, and laser lead extractions
• Float to the main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled, within scope of skillset
• Fulfill on-call requirements of approximately 32 hours per month
• Adhere to assigned schedule, including availability for 2 of 3 designated holidays

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CVOR nursing experience
• Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required at time of submission
• Scrub experience for open CVOR cases and TAVR procedures
• Proficiency with cardiac devices: Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, laser lead extractions, and TAVR
• Willingness and ability to float within skillset as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• Experience with a broad patient mix including adult open heart surgery and complex valve procedures
