Red Gambit is scaling, and we are looking for an Associate Strategist. While we can teach our specific platforms and processes, we can’t teach attention to detail, reliability, or proactive drive. We need a team member who brings those natural strengths to help us execute website builds and support our advertising campaigns.

The First 90 Days: While the long-term upside is significant (with a potential path to managing accounts, running discovery, and writing high-level growth strategies), your focus for the first 90 days will be execution, organization, and production support. To eventually write our strategic playbooks, you must first learn our delivery processes from the ground up by executing them.

The Details:

• Role: Associate Strategist (Production & Growth Operations)
• Term: 90-day trial contract (Up to 20 hours/week to start, flexible schedule)
• Rate: $35/hour (Invoiced once monthly)
• Future: This starts as a 1099 contract. Near the end of the 90 days, we will evaluate mutual fit. There is a potential path to a permanent W-2 role if performance, culture fit, workload, and company needs align.
• Bonus Potential: Monthly and per-project bonuses available for hitting deadlines and keeping projects organized and moving.

What You’ll Be Doing (The Progression):

• Step 1: Associate Strategist (Production & Execution): This is your starting point. You will support our core delivery by building Squarespace websites, implementing SEO, optimizing public-facing digital assets, assisting with ad campaign setup/tracking/reporting (Google/Social), and prepping materials for client consultations.
• Step 2: Strategist (Systematize & Manage): (Future Growth Path) Once you have mastered our production process, you will begin documenting these workflows to make them scalable, taking over daily account management, and helping write standard growth plays.
• Step 3: Senior / Lead Strategist (Consult & Lead): (Long-term Upside) Consulting clients directly, running discovery sessions, designing complex strategies, and leading our internal team.

Who You Are:

• You are hyper-organized and reliable. For this role, project movement, reliability, and hitting deadlines matter more to us than raw creative talent alone. You are the person who keeps the trains running on time.
• You are a systems thinker. You want to learn our processes, execute the work efficiently, and eventually help document them to make us scalable.
• You know your way around the platforms. You have direct, hands-on experience building sites in Squarespace, and you have a solid working familiarity supporting digital ad campaigns (specifically with setup, tracking, and reporting) and/or SEO implementation.
• You communicate proactively. You flag risks early, ask good questions, and keep the team in the loop.
