About the Organization Concern Housing is a non‑profit agency committed to helping individuals and families live in the community with dignity and enhanced opportunities through the provision of housing and support services. We are one of the largest housing agencies of this kind in New York State, currently serving approximately 1,300 individuals and families in over 240 locations. Position: Per Diem Counselor Location: Coney Island, Brooklyn Salary: $20.00/hr. Days/Hours: All shifts open—Days, Evenings, Weekends, and Overnight. Flexible schedule allows you to work around your own commitments while gaining experience in the non‑profit, social work field. Responsibilities Provide site or program coverage as needed. Monitor medications as required. Document client contact, collateral contracts, and other relevant information. Assist clients with household/apartment responsibilities. Provide transportation in agency vehicles for clients when needed. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Remain current with all agency‑required compliance documents and trainings. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent and some experience in a similar setting or education in the field of Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field.
