Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 4 NICU position at a highly surgical pediatric facility, with night shift availability and floating requirements.

Details

• Level 4 NICU in a pediatric hospital setting
• Cares for patients ranging from 23 weeks gestational age up to 1 year old
• Complex surgical patient population with diagnoses including PPHN, NEC/bowel perforation, BPD, trachestomy/G-button evaluations, pre-op cardiac anomalies, gastroschisis, hydrocephalus, and more
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00–07:30)
• Travelers are first to float and may be assigned to PICU, CCU, or med-surg floors for patients with like skill sets
• One additional shift required every 3 weeks during periods of high census

Requirements

• Active NE RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Prior NICU experience required, ideally in a high-acuity or surgical NICU setting
• Comfort with complex neonatal diagnoses and surgical cases required
• Ability to float to PICU, CCU, or med-surg units as needed
