About the Position

Job Title: Nurse Manager II Profession: Client Child Health (MCH) Specialty: Labor & Delivery (Critical Need) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM Experience: 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience Five (5) plus years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery preferred One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years preferred License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: Basic Life Support Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: The ability to enable skills-based hiring Description: Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required. Recent experience must be within the last three years. High Risk OB experience is preferred. Candidates must have strong clinical skills and an ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential. Must demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and safety. Knowledge of policies and regulations related to Client Child Health is necessary. Ability to handle complex patient situations with compassion and professionalism. Will provide leadership and support to nursing staff in the Labor and Delivery unit. The candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Continual professional development and adherence to best practices are expected.
