Join us at Andersen, and together, lets write the story of your success!/ph3The Role/h3pSenior Associates in our Commercial practice support tax compliance, planning, and consulting for a diverse client base, ranging from owner-operators and closely held businesses to multinational corporations and early-stage start-ups./ppSeniors can expect to:/pulliReview and prepare business entity tax returns for C-corporations, S-corporations, Partnerships with strong knowledge of federal tax compliance and familiarity with state compliance requirements to identify potential issues and considerations;/liliPrepare and review ASC 740 tax provisions;/liliCollaborate with engagement team to identify and research complex client issues and recommend solutions;/liliDraft technical tax memoranda;/liliDraft IRS responses and addressing other tax authority inquiries, as needed;/liliProvide regular updates to clients and keep internal team updated on status of projects and deadlines/liliAssist in project management of compliance and consulting engagements;/liliSupervise, train and mentor Associates and Interns; and/liliStay current with tax legislative and reporting changes from various internal and external resources, including formal COM training in corporate business taxation, on-the job training, direct feedback from engagement team leaders, firmwide newsletters, webcasts and technical alerts, etc./li/ulh3The Requirements/h3ulli2+ years of relevant tax experience;/liliBachelors and/or relevant advanced degree (MAcc, MST, JD);/liliAdvanced credential or desire to obtain advanced credential allowing for IRS client representation (i.e. CPA, JD);/liliTax software proficiency (e.g. GoSystem Tax RS, CCH, etc.)/liliSelf-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; and/liliProficient use of technology (e.g. Excel, tax research tools, etc.)/li/ulpCompensation and Benefits/ppOur firm offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being, growth, and long-term success of our people. We are committed to recognizing individual contributions and providing resources that enable our employees to thrive both personally and professionally./ppSalary Range: For individuals hired to work in Los Angeles, the expected base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidates qualifications, experience, and skill set./ppBenefits: Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage. Employees may enroll in the firms 401(k) plan upon hire.
