UPMC Cole is seeking a Casual Food Service Attendant to help provide excellent dining experiences for our patients, visitors, and staff. If you enjoy working with people, preparing food, and delivering outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you!

Schedule

Shifts will be scheduled between 3:45pm and 7:00pm Monday - Friday. Includes every other weekend and holiday.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and assemble meals according to menus, diet orders, and customer needs.
• Serve patients, guests, and residents in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Set up serving areas and ensure supplies and equipment are ready for meal service.
• Stock food and supplies as needed.
• Assist with dining room duties, including bussing and sanitizing tables.
• Deliver meals and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow infection prevention, hand hygiene, and food safety procedures.

• Previous food preparation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include adhering to hand hygiene and infection control procedures, communicating customer complaints, performing sanitation, serving patient meal trays, distributing and collecting menus, displaying customer service skills, and serving meals within established timeframes.

Work permit required if under 18 years old. Applicants with strong math skills, counting money, etc are preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Act 34, OAPSA.
