Director, HR Business Partner

Overview For our client, we are seeking a Director HR Business Partner to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will serve as a strategic people partner to business leaders, helping connect talent strategy with operating priorities. You will work across leadership teams and HR functions to support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to influence team performance, leadership capability, and scalable people practices within a technology-driven environment. Location: New York, NY. US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $225,000 – $250,000 annually. Responsibilities Oversee performance management cycles and career development strategies Resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations Serve as a primary People Partner to Managers for performance management Analyze HR metrics to propose data-driven solutions Diagnose NPS and attrition drivers and support Leadership Team in addressing them Champion and promote company culture Qualifications 5-7 years of HR experience with 2 years in a leadership role Experience in both startups and established companies Excellent ability to manage strategic and operational HR functions simultaneously Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Sheets and Claude Code or similar tools Proven record of building and leading high-performing teams Belief in employee experience as essential to business performance Desire to work in a high-performing, mission-driven environment Benefits Flexible PTO Medical/Dental/Vision plan options 401(k) with company match Flexible spending accounts Teladoc Health access Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
