Job Opportunity – Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Redding, CA 96001

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Redding, California

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM, night shift. 91-day assignment with 12-hour orientation period.

Highlights:

• Travel assignment in Northern California with competitive compensation and overtime opportunities
• Work in a full-service clinical laboratory performing waived, moderate, and highly complex testing
• Operate across multiple disciplines including Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Microbiology, and Immunology
• Utilize both manual and automated testing methods with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment
• Opportunity to serve as Lead Tech during shift in absence of supervisor
• Support for age-specific patient populations from newborn to geriatric care

Requirements:

• Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist certification required
• CLIA authorization and compliance with California Business & Professions Code Section 1204
• Demonstrated skill in performing laboratory procedures with independent judgment
• Experience with quality control documentation, corrective actions, and problem identification
• Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary puncture across all age groups
• Ability to maintain laboratory policies, procedures, and safety standards including infection control and emergency preparedness
