The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the planning, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Astrolab's facilities and infrastructure. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing, engineering, testing, and office environments while supporting the company's rapid growth and mission-critical hardware development programs. The Facilities Supervisor will oversee facility maintenance, infrastructure projects, contractor management, workplace safety initiatives, and facility-related capital improvements.What You'll Do:Facilities Operations & MaintenanceManage Astrolab's Facilities Service Portal, ensuring timely response and resolution of maintenance, safety, and infrastructure requestsOversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for facility systems and equipmentCoordinate facility repairs, upgrades, and expansions to support manufacturing, testing, integration, and office operationsMaintain facility infrastructure to ensure operational readiness, safety, and complianceProject Management & Infrastructure DevelopmentPartner with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and People & Culture to identify and execute facility improvement initiativesPlan and implement infrastructure required to support production equipment, test systems, laboratories, and specialty processesLead facility capital projects, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, vendor selection, installation, and commissioningManage specialty utility systems, including LN2, GN2, compressed gas distribution, exhaust systems, and other critical facility infrastructureEnsure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and with minimal disruption to ongoing operationsVendor & Contractor ManagementSource, evaluate, negotiate, and manage external contractors, service providers, and construction vendorsDevelop statements of work, review proposals, and manage project executionMonitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirementsLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop facilities personnel and support staffFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvementDrive employee engagement, professional development, and workforce retentionEffectively manage conflict, provide performance feedback, and conduct candid development conversationsSafety & CompliancePromote and maintain a strong safety culture in partnership with EHSEnsure facility activities tenant improvementsVendor-managed facility services and maintenance contractsWhat You'll Bring:Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of experience managing facilities, maintenance, construction, or infrastructure projects in aerospace, manufacturing, testing, industrial, or commercial environmentsExperience developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and capital expendituresExperience leading facility build-outs, expansions, or major infrastructure upgradesExperience managing contractors, vendors, and construction activitiesKnowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, transformers, switchgear, and backup power systemsExperience with facility infrastructure installation and maintenance, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or specialty utility systemsExperience managing multiple concurrent facility or infrastructure projects while communicating project status to stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting customer-facing facility projects and infrastructure improvementsExperience planning, installing, and commissioning LN2, GN2, or other specialty utility systemsExperience supporting or maintaining ISO-classified cleanrooms or controlled environmentsKnowledge of commercial construction methods, including structural framing, concrete construction, and commercial roofing systemsExperience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety practicesDemonstrated leadership experience managing teamsExperience implementing safety, quality, or continuous improvement initiativesStrong project management, organizational, and
