As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pre-Employment Requirements: Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of chemical/petrochemical facility buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, incidents, and observations. Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, hazardous conditions, and emergency information. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
