Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Endoscopy for a 13-week travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience and an active DC RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Endoscopy (GI) unit
• Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued only), NIHSS, and CPI
• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience in a U.S. hospital required
• BSN highly desired
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Valid U.S. SSN required
• Two supervisor or manager references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months (at least one from most recent employer)
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems, and documents findings according to policy
• Delivers age-appropriate, patient- and family-centered care in accordance with licensure, certification, and regulatory requirements
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Travel experience is preferred but not required
