Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Physician & Advanced Practice Provider – Locums, Locums-to-Perm, or Permanent Placement

Schedule: Physician shifts: 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am); APP shifts: 12-hour shifts (9am–9pm)

• Growing emergency department with 22 beds and approximately 28,000 annual visits (77 patients per day)
• Level III Trauma Center with comprehensive specialty back-up including General/Trauma Surgery, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Obstetrics, Oncology, Pediatrics, Pulmonology, and Urology
• EMR system: MedHost; teleneurology support available for emergent neurological consults
• 189-bed hospital with 25% admission rate, 3% transfer rate, and 15% pediatric volume
• Flexible contract lengths available from 3 months to 1 year
• Travel support provided including flight, hotel, and rental car
• Multiple placement options: locums, locums-to-perm, or direct permanent hire

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted medical license or valid Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) credential
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred (ABEM preferred for physicians)
• Current certifications: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required
• Credentialing process takes approximately 30 days
