Occupational Therapist

Role Overview: Implements and plans occupational therapy treatment programs across all age groups, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Assess patients’ performance, develop individualized treatment plans, and modify interventions based on ongoing evaluations. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, handling cultural diversity with professionalism. Participate in discharge planning, documentation, and promote evidence-based practices. Support department policies, safety, quality improvement, and staff training, including mentoring and student supervision. Build positive team relationships, problem-solve, and adapt to organizational changes. Complete professional and departmental documentation, and identify adaptive equipment needs. Engage in professional development, seek and share feedback, and contribute to departmental growth. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
