About this Role Maycomb Capital is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Analyst to enhance the firm’s external voice. This is a dynamic and hands-on role tailored for individuals who excel in an entrepreneurial setting, interpreting complex ideas into concise, clear messaging. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and investment teams to produce high-quality written content, manage digital presence, and reinforce the firm’s brand positioning. This position represents significant ownership and visibility, with the potential to influence how Maycomb Capital is perceived in the market. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills, be an organized project manager, and thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment. Proactive self-starters who can operate autonomously will find this role particularly engaging. Responsibilities Draft and edit high-quality written materials, including due diligence questionnaire responses, investor communications, and thought leadership pieces. Develop talking points, briefing memos, and presentation materials for senior leadership. Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and positioning across external materials. Build and maintain pitch decks and investor-facing collateral. Manage and expand the firm’s LinkedIn presence, including content creation and editorial planning. Research and manage earned and placed media opportunities. Work with investment and investor relations teams to gather content and meet deadlines. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 1-4 years of relevant work experience. Positive attitude and empathetic disposition. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Benefits Base salary between $68,000 and $85,000, commensurate with experience.
