CLINICAL COORDINATOR

Job Title

Job Summary: On a daily basis, coordinates and communicates assignment/reassignment of nursing staff throughout the organization. Manages bed assignment and patient flow process. Functions as hospital administrator on off shifts.

Education

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing preferred. Will consider specialty certification and nursing leadership experience in lieu of BSN.

Registration/Certification/Licensure

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland.

Experience

Progressive experience in the nursing field with a broad knowledge of nursing skills and techniques. Must have at least three (3) years experience as an R.N. Previous Charge Nurse, management or leadership experience preferred.

Other Requirements

Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements. Stroke Training required with 30 days of hire. Maintain unit specific and hospital competencies in accordance with policy requirements. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
