Maintenance Technician – Apartment Community
Houma, LA
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Houma, Louisiana . We're looking for someone with apartment maintenance experience who is ready to jump in and help keep the community running smoothly. HVAC certification is not required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete service requests in occupied apartment homes
- Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairs
- Complete apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community
- Maintain the grounds and common areas as needed
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and with excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and general maintenance
- HVAC experience is a plus, but certification is not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
