Family Practice - Geriatrics Physician

Job Posting: Physician Location: Lebanon, OH Schedule: Part-time, hours per week Workdays: Weekdays only (no evenings, weekends, or holidays) Shift: Day shift with flexible hours Duration: Minimum 6 months, with potential extension Position Summary We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Physician with experience in primary care to provide on-site medical services on a part-time basis in a correctional healthcare setting. The role serves an adult male population and offers a flexible weekday schedule. Both a phone interview and an on-site interview/tour will be required. Key Responsibilities Provide medical care using nationally recognized treatment standards Conduct medical examinations and complete evaluations, reports, and clinical documentation in an electronic health record Order and interpret diagnostic testing Prescribe and manage medications Complete medical reviews and reclassifications as required Refer patients for specialized care when appropriate Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare and administrative teams Participate in continuous quality improvement activities, including peer review Perform duties in accordance with professional scope of practice and applicable regulations Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients per hour Qualifications Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine Active Ohio Medical License Experience providing primary care services DEA Certification (required for assignment) Healthcare-level BLS/CPR Certification Master s Degree or higher (MD/DO required for practice) Must reside in Ohio by Jobble
