Kaiva Services is seeking a Site Superintendent in Ft. Belvoir, VASchedule: Monday – FridayHours: Full-time, 40 hours/weekClearance/Access: Active Secret Clearance requiredContract Length: Approximately 3 monthsTravel: Regional Travel as required Position SummaryThe Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities of the construction site according to project blueprints and schedule plans. The role includes coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks, and providing on-site direction to support Kaiva Services construction projects. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocationCreate cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costsCollaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction management teams to determine budget and timelineCoordinate material and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliersCreate schedules for workers and subcontractorsEvaluate subcontractors and assign work accordinglyMaintain a daily log of job site operations and report to management as necessaryMake operational changes as needed to meet construction deadlinesImplement cost-effective and efficient management techniquesAttend site meetings and serve as front-line representative for inspections and client questionsMaintain daily records including photos, site conditions, subcontractor attendance, deliveries, work issues, and progressEnsure the Superintendent does not have purchasing authority without Board or Kaiva Management designationPerform other duties as needed Requirements / ConditionsCurrent or recent USACE EM385 or equivalent certification requiredActive Secret Clearance required (site access requirement)3–5 years federal construction experience requiredMid-level Site Superintendent experience (5–9 years overall experience level)Background check and drug screening requiredRegional Travel as required Work EnvironmentEmployee will work on-site in a construction environment supporting Kaiva Services construction projects. Role involves coordination with clients, subcontractors, and project management teams, as well as participation in inspections and site meetings.
