Role Description The Assistant General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Crunch Fitness location in Corona, CA. This role supports the General Manager in overseeing daily club operations, including member services, staff supervision, and adherence to brand standards and policies. The Assistant General Manager helps manage scheduling, monitors facility cleanliness and safety, and ensures equipment and amenities are maintained to company standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting membership sales efforts, resolving member concerns, coaching team members to deliver high-quality service, and assisting with local marketing and community engagement initiatives. The role also involves tracking key performance metrics, contributing to budget and revenue goals, and fostering a positive, inclusive club culture. Qualifications Achieving daily goals on Sales KPIs Experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or related service environments, with a focus on customer service and member engagement. Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams, including experience with staff scheduling, performance feedback, and basic conflict resolution. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Comfort with basic business operations, including sales processes, point-of-sale systems, and tracking key performance indicators. Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with diverse members and team members. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on club needs. Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and fitness or membership management software. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or a degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred. Prior supervisory or shift‑lead experience is beneficial; previous experience in a gym or wellness environment is a plus.
