Store Associate

Position Summary Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. In this customer‑focused role you will work independently and collaboratively to positively impact the lives of others. Essential Functions Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues. Focusing on the customer by offering a warm greeting, eye contact, and assistance in locating items. Accurately performing cashier duties – handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed. Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed. Providing support to all departments (photo, beauty, etc.) to keep them fully stocked and operational. Assisting pharmacy personnel on regular shifts as part of growth opportunities. Embracing and advocating new CVS services and loyalty programs. Required Qualifications At least 16 years of age. Physical Requirements: Remaining upright on feet for sustained periods. Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and minimal force regularly. Performing visual inspections with close visual acuity. Visual Acuity – ability to read small details and view a computer terminal. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer‑service setting. Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Anticipated Weekly Hours 20 Time Type Part time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 – $22.00 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
