Job Summary Operate a shear to cut parts per customer order Physical Requirements Stand or Sit(Stationary position), Walk(Move, Traverse), Use hand/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position), Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse), Stoop, kneel, crouch, or Crawl(Position self(to), Move), Talk/hear(Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information), See (Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess), Pushing or Pulling, Reaching, Repetitive Motion Function in the JobHeavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Job Function Reviews work orders to determine material needed Retrieves material and stages for shearingShears material per work order requirementsMeasures material as needed to ensure tolerances are metEnsures measuring devices are in good working orderPackages material as needed for storage or shipmentCompletes and submits all required paperworkCompletes all required computer/data entryPerforms preventive maintenance on shear as assignedMaintains a clean and neat work areaOperates a forklift, crane, or other material handling equipment as needeD.Assists with loading or unloading trucksAssists with any other warehouse duties as assigned Required Skills Read and understand EnglishBasic math skillsKnowledge of how to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractionsHow to read a tape measureComputer data entry EEO Statement Reliance, Inc.
